Enrollment Timing

Timing for new applicants and re-enrollment is as follows:

January 15th -- New student application

1. Please complete the application for admission and submit the registration fee.  Registration fee for Pre-3 and Pre-4 is $75 and is $250 per family for K-12th. The registration fee covers initial application processing costs ($50), and curricular and classroom costs (remaining balance).

Refund policy: Morning Star will refund all but $50 of the registration fees if enrollment is declined by June 15th by either the family or Morning Star.

2. Please submit a Pastor/Sunday School Teacher Reference form as soon as possible after applying for admission. Families may set up enrollment conferences only after the reference form is submitted to the school office.

3.  Once Pastor/Sunday School Teacher Reference form has been received either the Head of Lower School (pre-K thru 5th grades) or Head of Upper School (6th thru 12th grades) will set up an enrollment conference.

Please note: Enrollment conferences for new students will begin March 1st.

4.  New families may apply for financial aid through FACTS.

Please note, if you are requesting a multi-student discount you must submit a FACTS application.

January 15th -- Re-enrollment

1. Current families are encouraged to re-enroll and will receive enrollment priority through the month of February

2.  Re-enrollment requires families to complete and sign the re-enrollment form and submit the registration fee. Registration fee for Pre-3 and Pre-4 is $75 fee and $250 per family for K-12th. The registration fee covers initial application processing costs ($50), and curricular and classroom costs (remaining balance).

3.  Current families may apply for financial aid through FACTS.

4.  For re-enrollment, account balances must be kept current to maintain enrollment   priority from the time of registration.

CHANGE: Please note, all re-enrolling families who wish to receive their multi-student discount must submit a FACTS application by April 15th. 

March 1st -- Open enrollment

  1. All families may apply for admission. Consideration for open seats will be based upon timing of receiving the application for admissions and the registration fee (for new students) or the re-enrollment form for existing families.

2.  All families may apply for financial aid through FACTS.

CHANGE: Please note, all re-enrolling families who wish to receive their multi-student discount must submit a FACTS application by April 15th. 

CHANGE: April 1st -- Increased Registration Fee

Beginning April 1st, registration fee increases to $175 for preschool and $350 per family for K-12th grades.  Morning Star will refund all but $150 of the registration fees if enrollment is declined by June 15th by either the family or Morning Star.

May 1st -- First Round of Scholarship Awards

All families who apply through FACTS between January 15th and April 15th will receive first preference for scholarships. Scholarship award amounts will be awarded beginning May 1st. 

June 1st -- Second Round of Scholarship Awards   

All families who apply through FACTS between April 15th and May 15th will be awarded scholarships beginning June 1st.

Please note: After June 15th registration fees will not be refunded.

June 15th -- Remaining Scholarship Awards

We recognize that some new families are in transition over the summer and new to the area. Also circumstances for current families may require unexpected need for scholarships. Our aim is to set aside a small portion for new families in summer transition. If any scholarship amounts remain we will consider unexpected needs from current families.
