Why I am at Morning Star

I am serving on the Board as an extension of my love and fervent prayers for Morning Star Academy and its impact for Christ’s Kingdom. Morning Star comes alongside parents seeking to raise their children in the fear of the Lord and in the pursuit of wisdom. Morning Star shows how classical Christian education is not just a method; it is a posture.  As another mother expressed to me, our children learn everything—from Latin to literature to logic—under the “Great Given”. 

What is the Great Given? That Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever, and that in Him all things hold together (Hebrews 13 and Colossians 1).  A classical Christian education displays for my sons a joyful and coherent posture toward God’s sovereignty and love for His people. Morning Star’s teachers model this love, and the curriculum celebrates what is good, true, and beautiful. To God be the Glory!
