John AmmanPRESIDENT I am serving the Board and the Morning Star community because I am committed to ensuring our classical Christian education is available to as many Quad Cities students as possible. Our family believes this foundational education model is essential for all students’ faith as well as sharpening their abilities to think critically, defend truth, and enjoy the freedoms upon which our great country was founded; endowed by our Creator. Our family will continue to invest time and resources into Morning Star Academy for years to come. Director of Automated Solutions, Tri-City Electric

Sara MillerSECRETARY My husband Matt and I have two boys. We placed them at Morning Star so that our Lord Jesus Christ and His teaching would be at the center of their education. The classical Christian model is not only excellent for cultivating learning ability; it also helps protect our sons from an increasingly hostile culture that seeks to lead them away from the truth. Chad RaesideBOARD MEMBER We send our children to Morning Star because we believe the classical Christian Education provided in the Trivium shapes their character like no other form of education. In the end, we firmly believe the school will train our children to be thinkers, leaders and lovers of Jesus while at the same time serving their communities for the greater good. As a graduate of Morning Star Academy’s class of 2013, I have such an appreciation for Classical Christian education and a love for this school. My parents sacrificed so much for my brother and I to receive an education that taught us how to think, not what to think. Morning Star gave me the tools needed to stand firm in my faith and defend my Christian worldview as I stepped into life after high school. I feel called to give back to the school that helped shape who I am today. I look forward to serving and giving back to Morning Star Academy in my unique role as an alumnus.Compensation & Benefits Analyst, HNI Corporation
