We are looking for candidates who will foster relationships with our students and use those relationships as a means for discipleship and sharing the gospel. Morning Star Academy is a classical Christian school with approximately 256 students from Pre-K through 12th Grade.

Currently Hiring for:

  • Front Office Receptionist - We are looking for an individual who shares our vision of shaping lives of the next generation by using their talents and gifts at the front desk. Duties will include:

    • Controlling access into building at front door.

    • Making copies.

    • Dispensing medicine and first aid items to students.

    • Documenting medical events in our school record system.

    • Assisting with mass mailings.

    • Other projects as assigned.

    The successful candidate will be friendly, detail oriented, and proficient in Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.

    The hours for this position are 7:45 am to 3:45pm Monday through Friday.

  • Upper School Science Teacher - We are currently seeking an Upper School Science Teacher to teach both Logic and Rhetoric students. Our Logic students discover the glory of God within Physical Science and Earth Science. Our Rhetoric students continue to discover that glory through Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. The ideal candidate will be familiar with classical, Christian education and the nuances of how classical Christian education impacts the classroom. A teaching certificate is not necessary. 

  • Sixth Grade Teacher - We are currently seeking a sixth grade teacher.  Candidates must be professing Christians in agreement with our mission, philosophy, and goals.

  • Accountant - This is a part-time position. The accountant is responsible for the management and control of Morning Star Academy’s accounting functions. He or she will perform various tasks in support of the school’s accounting system that requires the understanding/regular use of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and decision making based upon knowledge concerning accounting concepts, methods and procedures.
