Morning Star Academy is a classical Christian school with approximately 256 students from Pre-K through 12th Grade.

Currently Hiring for:

  • Head of School - Morning Star Academy seeks a mission-driven Head of School who is passionate about classical Christian education and committed to the formation of young people in wisdom, virtue, and academic excellence.
    This role is ideal for an experienced educator who loves the classroom, believes deeply in the classical model of education, and is eager to help cultivate a thriving community of teachers, students, and families pursuing truth, goodness, and beauty under the lordship of Christ.

    Working closely with the Headmaster, the Head of School provides leadership in the daily life of the school—supporting faculty, strengthening academic programs, mentoring teachers, and helping ensure that the mission and distinctives of Morning Star Academy are faithfully lived out in every classroom and activity.

  • Upper School Science Teacher - We are currently seeking an Upper School Science Teacher to teach both Logic and Rhetoric students. Our Logic students discover the glory of God within Physical Science and Earth Science. Our Rhetoric students continue to discover that glory through Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. The ideal candidate will be familiar with classical, Christian education and the nuances of how classical Christian education impacts the classroom. A teaching certificate is not necessary. 

  • Upper School Humanities Teacher - We are currently seeking an upper school humanities teacher.  Candidates should have a background in history, literature, or philosophy.  Candidates must be professing Christians in agreement with our mission, philosophy, and goals.

  • Kindergarten Teacher - We are currently seeking a kindergarten teacher.  Candidates must be professing Christians in agreement with our mission, philosophy, and goals. 

  • Second Grade Teacher - We are currently seeking a second grade teacher.  Candidates must be professing Christians in agreement with our mission, philosophy, and goals. 

  • Sixth Grade Teacher - We are currently seeking a sixth grade teacher.  Candidates must be professing Christians in agreement with our mission, philosophy, and goals. 

  • Accountant - This is a part-time position. The accountant is responsible for the management and control of Morning Star Academy’s accounting functions. He or she will perform various tasks in support of the school’s accounting system that requires the understanding/regular use of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and decision making based upon knowledge concerning accounting concepts, methods and procedures.
